In actual planning means a drawing made for the construction site which shows colour, material symbols, functions, circulation etc.
Am architect usually begins his work with planning. Planning is a process of finding the damands of use, economy and environment of structure. Planning process also has a cultural and social value through which an architect performs his best.
Their are some common stages of Planning process are :-
1. Schematic design
2. Development of design
3. Construction documents
4. Bidding
5. Construction administration
Types of Architecture Planning :-
There are seven common types of planning are -
1. Floor Planning
2. Site Planning
3. Urban Planning
4. Landscape Planning
5. Ceiling Plan
6. Elevations
7. Millwork Drawings
These were the some basic types of planning in architecture usually called.
Importance of Architecture Planning :-
With many demands in modern society, architectural planning is becoming a major aspect when thinking about growth, Success and development. Even architectural firms are considering a sensitive idea of planning for future designs. As architecture and construction is on top in modern society, so it's importance must be known to everyone.
Why planning important ? Because it allows government to meet and plan to prepare for future. And it is dynamic process of development.
Factors that control Planning :-
While planning is important to architecture, there are some factors that control architectural planning are -
(a) Environment -
It is the first factor that controls planning to make building habitable and comfortable, whereas the architect must control the effect of heat, light, air, moisture etc.
(b) Orientation -
Orientation is another factor that control planning in a way that arrangement of building axes should consider effect of sun, rain and wind.
(c) Form -
Form of building modify the effect of natural forces, that helps in controlling the planning.
(d) Colour -
It has practical functions that range it's reflection and absorption of solar rays.
(e) Material -
As different materials having different properties and control planning in different way.
(f) Circulation
(g) Differentiation
(h) Facilitation
