What is automation ? Automation derived from two words automatic + machine, means a machine that works automatically.    

  

                                  OR                it may be defined as the process/technique of operating system automatically. It is the application of technology to monitor and control services or works.   

What is Home Automation ?    Home Automation is the relation between technology and home services. It is the automatic control and management of eletronic devices with in a home. These devices are connected to internet or bluetooth, which allows them to be controlled remotely. For example, you can on your room AC from office before you return to home.        Home Automation helps to make life more convenient and can save time and money. For example, a smart light bulb that you can turn on and off through app. It is the type of technology that can make our life easy.

How does Home Automation work ?                                          Home Automation works through internet, bluetooth, wifi and other electronic devices/platforms. These devices can be controlled or managed remotely through apps and other platforms. Its working is totally automatic that is maintained by us. It can control our home completely through internet.                        Home Automation works on multiple levels are automation, monitoring, control and other communications. Automation is setting up devices to faces one another, monitoring is defined as a user can check home remotely, control is that which helps to control devices remotely. Home Automation is categoried on the basis of its work. The categories are :        Protection sensors, Climate control devices, Entertainment devices, Security or Sansor devices, Lighting devices and Home Automation controllers. 

Necessity of Home Automation in today's life  :-     The concept of smart homes has made our living spaces interactive and time, and electricity. By which we can turn on and off the devices at time.                                              (d) Wellness - We can close the blinds, windows and detect amount of sunlight that enters the room.                                        (e) Comfort zone - the tasks to be carried out in our homes are much easier, and you can do many actions comfortably from a screen. 

Disadvantages of home automation :-                                (a) Maintenance - in the time of breakdown or damage, its repairing can be complex and expensive. In addition to this, it is possible that an important part will be blocked and more functions will be canceled. Hence, the cost of any repairing can be very high.        (b) Intial Cost - the price of installation of home automation is very high. The Intial investment that must be made is very important since the entire home must be wired.                                           (c) Data transmission speed - it is depending on the number of system that are connected, when transferring a large amount of dat become congested and decrease the transmission speed.                    (d) Ring connection - whenever the information is connected in the form of a ring, there may be some delay that will also depend on the number of points that are connected to the network. Which is not good as. 

Home Automation is an innovation, despite the growth of home automation over the years, there was a general lack of awareness of smart products. 

The beauty about Home Automation is that brings the entire control of the home over tips of fingers.
